New foreign patients

It has almost become an everyday occurence that we welcome patients from other European countries. Currently, there is a swift from Sweden, who had a long journey through different stations and means of transportation. But finally, the bird arrived and is in a good condition. However, it will remain in the clinic for observation for a while.

Another swift was brought from Poland. A student of architecture and her father took care of their foundling and asked someone, who claimed to be an expert. Unfortunately, this "expert" seemed to be quite incompetent so that the bird suffers from malnutrition. The family did not hesitate to take an 18-hour train ride to bring the swift to Frankfurt. Consequences of malnutrition may become visible during the next weeks, so the bird is currently under observation. We are going to keep you up-to-date.
